Heaven: It’s Not the End of the World

£9.99

By taking the reader back to the authentic original hope that Paul was projecting to his first readers, David Lawrence argues for a fresh view of the after-life!
This thought-provoking book counters the traditional view of heaven as wispy spirits wearing golden crowns, clutching harps and singing the Hallelujah Chorus. It examines what the Bible has to say about heaven and eternal life by concentrating on the biblical promise of a new Earth, and explores the contemporary implications of this view.

About the Author

Formerly a teacher and Scripture Union schools worker, David Lawrence now leads a church in Thornbury, Bristol. He also works with the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity (LICC). David has written several books including Winning Ways–creating a culture of outreach in your church (jointly with Philip Jinadu) and the award-winning Chocolate Teapot for young people. He also contributes to Scripture Union’s Daily Bread. David is married with 3 grown up children.
